Smoothies makes a refreshing breakfast in summers. But you can actually enjoy them regardless of any season. They are quick, healthy and absolutely delicious. And one can try various combinations using either fresh or frozen vegetables and fruits. Also add some nuts and seeds of your choice to make a nourishing breakfast. I enjoy thick smoothies and love to try different combinations. In this post, I am sharing one of my go-to smoothie recipe – ‘Mixed berries smoothie‘.
There are variety of bright coloured, juicy, sweet or sour berries available. And you can choose favourite ones for this smoothie. I generally use frozen berries like raspberry, black current, blueberries and blackberries without any ice to make this smoothie. Mix berries gives wonderful freshness with sweet and sour combination while banana adds thickness and balances sweet taste. So, no need to add sugar or any sweetener in this recipe. Make it vegan friendly by replacing milk with dairy-free options. My personal choice is oat milk which goes very well in any smoothie.
Ingredients:
1&1/2 cups of frozen berries of your choice
1 banana
2 tbsp of chia seeds
1 cup of milk
Method:
Gather all the ingredients.
Add everything into blender jar and pulse it together until smooth.
I have skipped ice but if you fancy then add some.
Topped with some more chia seeds and our smoothie is ready.

I hope you liked this recipe and would love to give it a try. As always, thanks for stopping by and reading this blog. If you liked my blog, then do check out my other recipes ; also you can follow me on Pinterest || Instagram || Twitter.
