Farasbi chi Bhaji | Green Beans Sabji

Farasabichi Bhaji

Farasbhi chi Bhaji‘ is a simple, homestyle recipe with fresh green beans (also known as french beans). This is a Maharashtrian style recipe and Farasbi is local name for green beans. It is an easy and quick stir fried kind of recipe; perfect for busy day. Also, one of my go-to recipes for office lunch box.

This vegetarian and vegan friendly sides can be ready in no time. Such a simple recipe with less oil and few ingredients yet tasty and enjoyable. I like to keep beans slightly crunchy rather than soft in the sabji. This crunchy green beans has light sweetness which are balanced with spice seasonings used in the recipe. Diced potatoes goes perfectly in this dish and adds soft, sweet bite to recipe. Serve it hot with freshly prepared chapati or phulka’s and leftovers can be enjoyed with dal-rice or curd-rice. Serve it either ways, tastes equally delicious; a hassle-free recipe, ideal for weekdays.
